Diagnosis

Breast cancer diagnosis involves several methods. The first and most basic way of detecting breast cancer is through self examination. The breast tissues are examined by hand to find out lumps or abnormalities.

Breast cancer can be detected using an ultrasound or sonography. Here high-frequency sound waves bounce off body tissues and internal organs . The sound produced by the waves helps to detect the presence of the cancer (if any).

Another means of detecting Breast Cancer is through Breast Cancer Mammogram Diagnosis. Mammogram is a test in which an x-ray is done to find out if there is any abnormal tissue growth in the breast. Now-a-days digital mammography is used through which x-rays taken in digital format on the breast, reveals the extent of growth of cancer cells. Along with digital mammography, computer-aided detection (CAD) is used for Breast Cancer diagnosis, wherein areas of the breast suspected of having cancerous growth in a mammogram are further checked using computer technology.

Breast Cancer detected through Breast Cancer Mammogram Diagnosis offers complete and authentic testing results. It detects if there is prevalence of breast cancer, thereby helping doctors to judge which mode of treatment would treat the affected person.
